When we have received Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, we will no longer have condemnation nor be enslaved to sin. We have been given the Spirit of Christ, Who, regularly, is working life and peace into our bodies, souls and spirits. If we have received Jesus Christ and His Spirit, we are adopted as children of God and, even more so, as heirs with Christ, the Son of God. We have been given hope and we are eagerly awaiting the full attainment of all that God promises to those who love Him. Because of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ our Lord, who can be against us? Who can bring a charge against God’s elect? Who is the one who condemns? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Selah.
