When I pondered how the “heavens declare His righteousness,” another portion of Scripture came to mind. “But I (Jesus) say to you, love you enemies, and pray for those who persecute you in order that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on {the} evil and {the} good, and sends rain on {the} righteous and {the} unrighteous.” God’s righteousness is perfectly balanced with His loving kindness. His ways of righteousness often puzzle us, yet we are not left in our confusion. In His glory, He will “lead us” if we will follow. Selah.
