The Lord said He will come to judge “each man according to his deeds.” Because God is faithful to His word, He will judge all of us. Because He is righteous, we will be judged fairly and honorably, according to the laws of His kingdom. Some people will be their own advocate, relying on their own works to save them; but, “whoever keeps the whole law yet stumbles in one {point}, he has become guilty of all.” Then there are those who, by faith and God’s grace, “have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for {those} of the whole world.” These are those who know their guilt but rely on Jesus Christ to pay their debt and have committed to follow and obey His commandments, conducting themselves “in a manner worthy of the Lord.” Selah.
