The cheater generates poverty. It seems an epidemic is sweeping our nation. Many of our citizens spend most of their time looking for “loop holes” instead of “keeping their word” in legal and business matters. Their energies are spent on “getting something for nothing” or to take advantage of another’s mistake or ignorance rather than giving each other a “fair shake” or “going the extra mile.” The injustice that accompanies greed and the attitude “I must get mine” will cause a nation to spiral down from opulence to poverty, from stability and to destruction.
God says in His word that the righteous will not be begging bread in the streets. The wealth of the righteous is not of the “stuff” of this world which is subject to rust, moth, decay and thief. Selah.
