This year, in the season of thanksgiving and celebrating Our Savior's birth, the world has attempted to malign, most specifically, the Judeo-Christian faith. Fox News interviewed the disenchanted religious and others to discredit Christian belief. More horror movies have been released in this season than ever before in Hollywood history. Do you think Satan, the prince of this age and our real enemy, has a plan? We, Christians were never charged to "defend the faith," but "fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience" (1 Timothy 1:18,19). We were not charged to labor to provide physical evidence of the existance of God, but to believe and conduct our lives in the Holy Spirit and in faith. Jesus commands us to be alert and "see to it that no one misleads" us. We, Christians, are not to be frightened, but faithful; not distancing ourselves from our neighbors, but making disciples. We have been forewarned by Jesus Christ Himself and His disciples, that in the last days, before His second appearing, the true believers would be few; wickedness would increase. Are you ready, willing and able to fight the good fight of faith when people who surround you are in rebellion, disobedience and idolatry? Think about it.
