If the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111), then following His ways is the consummation of wisdom. A good understanding of the works of the Lord cultivates the good fruit of godly wisdom. Also, in Psalm 111, “the works of the Lord” are said to be “studied by all who delight in them.” The works of the Lord are great, wonderful, powerful, eternal, holy and awesome, splendid and majestic, performed in truth and uprightness. It is in studying, remembering and knowing them (by application) that the fruit of true godly wisdom matures and brings praises to God Our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Think about it.
