"Now all praise to God for His wonderful kindness to us and His favor that He has poured out upon us, because we belong to His dearly loved Son. So overflowing is His kindness towards us that He took away all our sins through the blood of His Son, by whom we are saved; and He showered down upon us the richness of His grace--for how well He understands us and knows what is best for us at all times. God has told us His secret reason for sending Christ, a plan he decided on in mercy long ago; and this was His purpose: that when the time is ripe He will gather us all together from wherever we are--in heaven or on earth--to be with Him in Christ forever" (Ephesians 1:5-10, LB).

That is God's intentions for all who put their faith and trust in Him. But what about those who do not? They remain under God's curse and doomed forever for their sins. They will go along with the crowd, full of sin, obeying Satan who is at work right now in the hearts of those who are against the Lord. Their lives expressing the evil within them, doing every wicked thing that their passions or evil thoughts might lead them into. Like us, they, too, were born with evil natures. Like them, we, too, were under God's anger. But God is so rich in mercy that He not only gave us, Christians, His undeserved favor and saved us from His anger and curse, He still offers that gift to anyone who will turn from evil and accept His intention to save them and care for them. The offer is this: Trust Jesus Christ for your salvation and trust the One True God as your Master and Leader (Ephesians 2:1-10, LB). Think about it.
