What Do I Gotta Do?
Treasured Vignettes

"All that's required is that you really believe and have no doubt! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you have it, it's yours! But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive you your sin too." Mark 11:24-25 LB)

Unforgiveness spawns doubt in God. Why? When we become offended with another, we also become offended with God. "Why did He let this happen to me?" "How can I trust a God who lets 'bad' things happen?" There are other judgmental questions we sling at God when we are offended by the behavior or words of others, especially those we trust. Blame and faith cancel each other out. If you have faith, you do believe that God will bring good out of every situation. If you blame God, you have judged Him as faulty and unable to change anything. Blame fortifies your doubt of God's goodness, almightiness and all-sufficiency; and, your prayers will express that lack of faith. Faith is shown by our willingness to forgive another his shortcomings. It is an exercise in trusting God for the outcome of our lives and our prayers will reflect that, too. Think about it.
