TAKE NOURISHMENT
"My nourishment comes from doing the will of God Who sent Me and from finishing His work" (John 4:34LB).
Nourishment, that deep satisfaction and satiation of longing and /or desire, is only found in doing the will of God and completing His commissioned work. The food that is supplied for our bodies only temporarily gives us a feeling of satisfaction and contentment. Hunger will come again. Nothing of this world, this creation, can fully satisfy the hunger of a person's soul. Total maintenance for the soul is found solely at the breast of the All-Sufficient One, Almighty God. Jesus Christ bears us to His bosom where we find nourishment for the hunger of our souls; food that fills more than our bellies and it sustains us for eternity. Think about it.
