LIVING IN HIGH SOCIETY
"I live in that high and holy place where those with contrite, humble spirits dwell; and I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts" Isaiah 57:15 LB.
Who are the humble but those who turn from their ways of sin and turn to God, the Holy One. They are those who honor God, His commandments and His ordinances to do them. They are those who check themselves from doing wrong and do good; who love His name and serve Him; who mourn and confess their sins; who do not oppress the weak, lie, gossip or hold secret hatred in their hearts. They are those who help people in trouble, feed the hungry, clothe the naked and bring the helpless into their homes. They care for their relatives who need their help. They are those who look to the Lord for guidance and acknowledge Him in all they do. They boast in the Lord and make His Name great in the land. It is with these that the Lord dwells. Think about it.
