ORDAINED
"and as many as were destined (appointed and ordained) to eternal life believed--adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Jesus as the Christ and their Savior" (Acts 13:48 AMP).
"I am the Good Shepherd and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me . . . I have other sheep [besides these], that are not of this fold. I must bring and impel those also, and they will listen to My voice and heed My call, and so there will be [they will become] one flock under one Shepherd [Ezekial 34:23]" (John 10: 14,16). This is the ordination of the Lord: that those He has predestined will believe in Jesus Christ and be saved from the penalties of their sin. And, that all who believe would be one flock under one Shepherd. Christ alone is appointed Head over the church. He alone was ordained to bring Almighty God's message, not only to the Jews, but to the whole world. Anyone who is ordained to believe is ordained to witness of the excellencies of God. Man's ceremony of ordination is only human recognition and approval of what God has already done. There are none who, having been predestined by God, and who have believed and devoted themselves to Him, are not ordained to be children of God, heirs with Christ and ambassadors of the Gospel in this world. Think about it.
