REAL CHRISTIANITY

"And they answered, Believe in and on the Lord Jesus Christ--that is, give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping, and you will be saved; [and this applies both to] you and your household as well" (Acts 16:31 AMP).

Christianity is not for the proud, the greedy, the sensuous or pleasure seeking.  The way of Christ is not soothing to the ego.  It is crucifying.  The way of Christ will not fill one's desire for more.  It is emptying.  The way of Christ will not pander to the lusts of one's flesh or eyes.  It is submissive only to the will of God.  The way of Christ is not to judge but to forgive.  The way of Christ is not to hate those who would oppress, afflict or harm.  It is to love, to do good to those who spitefully use, even those who would kill.  The way of Christ is not to act like a helpless baby, demanding attention.  It is to be like a sinless Man Who laid down His life for the benefit of sinners.  The way of Christ is a narrow path of righteousness not a broad path of lawlessness.  The way of Christ leads to life.   Any other way leads to condemnation and death.  For the way of Christ is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength; and, to love your neighbor just like you love yourself.  The way of Christ is for the humble, the submissive, the obedient to the Lord God Almighty, the Father and Lord of all.  Jesus said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me" (John 14:6, emphasis mine).  Think about it.
